Finally! I can online long enough to blog. In Germany right now for about 2weeks already. And the weather has been getting from bad to worse! haha.. when I mean bad its not the heat.. but the cold! haha.. its summer now! But the temperature was 4-12 degrees yesterday! The wind is super strong and its freaking cold. My daily wear consist of the same old boring clothes (t-shirt, jeans a wool sweater and wind breaker). So I actually look like i'm wearing the same thing everyday! haha..

Arrived in Hamburg on 16 May at around noon (its 6hours slower so it was evening in Sg already). Surprisingly it was quite easy for us to get to our hostel although everyone didn't brush up on their german before they embarked on this trip. haha.. or maybe its only me.. anyway, the flight here was quite sleepy.. I travelled with 4 other people. one of the guys started sleeping the moment the plane took off.. ha. and the thing is, he sleeps with his mouth open and only open his eyes long enough to answer the air stewardess about his preference for food. we are a group travelling around pre-immersion.

Visited the rickmer's rickmer.. some ship and i acted like a ghost in front of the mirror.. haha... (will post the link for pics up after everything) anyway.. im quite lazy to type everything out here la.. haha.. juz ask me abt it whn im back la haha... about 2weeks worth of stories.. but im getting quite sick of looking at castles and churches.. just to update, i was in hamburg for 2 days then went over to düsseldorf for 1 day and the next i spent it in köln.. the Dom (cathedral) in köln was super duper huge la!

Since then, i was in Stuttgart.. currently staying with 2 other guys.. and cuz they r guys, they take a much shorter time to prepare in the morning.. so although i wake up the earliest everyday , they always have to wait.. haha.. Tut mir leid! hee.. my host is very very nice! and we actually live in a house... with 3 floors including an attic! haha.. too bad there r 2 rooms in the attic but one is the host's room while the other is used as a storeroom. During meals, they light up the candles in the dining room and those on the dining table. If we do that in singapore, i think everyone will ask me "whats the occasion?" but it makes the atmosphere nice.. candle light dinner, candle light breakfast, candle light lunch... and its here that i really understand the meaning behind living room, dining room etc. cuz they have different rooms for everything!
sound so mountain tortoise.. but i really think i will be really fit after this trip... walk and walk.. walk and walk.. besides getting sick of breads, im getting pretty sick of walking too.. but the public transport system here is pretty easy to smoke through... they dun have gates for u to put in ur card to enter the trains because most people have concession travel.

german lessons everyday... sehr sehr langweilig!!! wa.. this teacher is the worse man.. plus we have to face her everyday except weekends and PH and some times up to 5/6 hours a day! sian... here's a pic of me sleeping hee.. dun doubt that this was a accident.. haha.. anyway the teacher is named Dagmar Grieser and not really on the thin side.. so erm... she looks like the witch in the little mermaid.. haha.. its a strange name i know but apparently it seems to be quite a popular german name.. german sort of getting better... sad to say not getting alot better... but i can understand more of the blabbering.. when they speak very fast.. now they dun sound so much like speaking in martian already..
