NM1101E- Communications and New Media
The bane of my life! *At least for this moment* I was encouraged by a friend to take this exposure module because it was 'interesting' and the tests and exams were rather easy, consisting of thin (but extremely boring) readings and MCQs for midterm test.
Unfortunately, the lecturers decided to change the test format a 'little' bit this semester, and included short-answers AND essay questions. Unfortunately, I can't help but fall asleep each time I start reading the readings too. This falling asleep has got nothing to do with being tired. The readings are simply TOO uninteresting.
Oh no, tomorrow is the midterm test and I still cannot concentrate on this SO VERY unappealing module.
On another note, this has got to be my worst semester in NUS. In 2 out of 5 modules, I have lousy lecturers, which in addition to yawning my head off for 2 hours, I can learn absolutely NOTHING albeit desperately trying to pay attention during the class. In 1 of these 2, besides the course syllabus, we are also expected to pick up basic linear algebra on our own if we have not learnt it beforehand. (New lecturer for this module, who completely changed the syllabus other lecturers have followed.) Yup and not to forget, NM1101E, the boring-est module I've ever taken. I don't even know what's the point of learning the things taught in class since I cannot relate to most of the topics.
Which means, that I'm in deep trouble. And this probably explains my worrying nightmare.
