New year Resolutions~

Be ON TIME
Keep my room neat
Keep my important documents where they ought to be as soon as I'm done with them
Help out with household chores more often
Try to be less accident-prone
Be more patient
Make more time for piano everyday
Say bye to butterflies and flutter-bys
Stop being last minute
Be more diligent

For those who are wondering why am I still in Singapore

I spent the entire day of 26dec cleaning up the house with the very much appreciated help of AL. It's quite a miracle when 2 girls with the intention to clean up something comes together. One gets more motivated and less bored of cleaning up. So anyway my house is almost quite tidy and clean now that I don't really want my brother to come home: he just messes up the whole place by being inconsiderate enough not to bother about the house..sigh. By the time we are done with housework, it was almost 9pm! Quite bad that AL has to eat dinner so late with me. We called for Mac's delivery service and had dinner at 10. The unceasing rain continued relentlessly the whole day. Lucky for us, AL's mum happened to be on the way home from somewhere nearby and she came to pick AL up. Soon after, I decided to start packing though very late because my flight was at 8am the next day.

Then came the great shock. I couldn't find my passport. Combed all the possible places, called my parents in the middle of the night and even my brother who was at a chalet. By 4am, I still couldn't find my passport. Called SIA to postpone the booking in the nick of time to aviod paying for no-show. I should have started on my packing earlier. My laziness affected all the plans and efforts my parents painstakingly made for me. How guilty I felt, when my mum told me what she had prepared for me. Although I'm glad my mum is not hysterically angry at me anymore, I still feel very bad about the whole incident. And I haven't found my passport yet. SIGH

~~~~~~
Effort does not translate into results.
Disappointment isn't enough to describe how I felt about my results. I suffered a shock when I first knew of my results during the results leak. How could it be?! is there a mistake? It was consoling to know many others thought the results were not real.
After the actual date of release of results? The shock has settled and I have accepted the fact.
I quote AL: "God may have created man before woman, but there is always a rough draft before the masterpiece!"
A few days since I finished exams and what have I been doing?
1. Shopped a little
2. Went for steam boat at Marina
3. Concert
4. TEACHed alot (yuck)
I really detest teaching. I have to wake up at such an unearthly hour just so that I can try not to fall asleep while listening to really horribly un-practiced music. Yes, that's torture. I tried many ways: walk around the room (box may be more apt in describing that little area enclosed by 4 walls)...try to chit chat with them so that I can feel more awake... Try that EVERY single sunday.. Here comes the worst part.... Little kids who are EXTREMELY naughty and refused to listen to you when you are trying not to feel sleepy.
I DESPERATELY need more patience.
Concert was one of the best I've been to. It's an informal and interactive concert with the conductor talking to the audiences and describing the music instead of simply relating to the audiences through the music. Really like it alot!
Went jogging yesterday.. yes the laziest girl jogging.. I'm craving my first set of ginger cookies! BUT, I've lost the recipe and my oven's down. YUCK! sigh..When can I say goodbye to my butterflies?
